The interview process involves a knowledge assessment of the investment industry and current affairs, including your knowledge of the FCA codes of conduct. You will also be quizzed on investment portfolios, market trends and professional integrity within the sector. Depending on your designation within our company structure, you may attend either the Analyst Induction or Investment Management Induction.
For those interested in the analyst position, the interview will require you to deliver a timed presentation based on relevant economic data and then analyse financial information related to a specific company. You will need to interpret data from different sources and determine the impact on investment related decision making processes.
Wealth management and client facing roles require effective communication and decision making skills in a high pressure, target driven environment. Candidates must be able to make clear and decisive decisions under pressure and have the ability to remain calm.
To be eligible for the role, you must hold at least a 2.1/2.2 degree in a finance related subject and possess professional qualifications/certifications in investment management or analysis. Candidates who have successfully passed CFA Level 1 and have level 4 CPD certifications will have a greater chance of being selected.
If selected, you will have a 24-month contract with a starting salary of £35k per annum, exclusive of bonuses and incentives. We offer a generous bonus and incentive structure, including private medical care and health insurance.
