Job Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of ESG factors relevant to our operations, industry, and stakeholders.
Collect, organise, and evaluate ESG-related data to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and potential risks.
Prepare accurate and compelling ESG reports, disclosures, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement ESG strategies and initiatives aligned with our company's goals and values.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights, address concerns, and build relationships related to ESG matters.
Assess potential ESG risks and develop risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with risk management and compliance teams.
Support the integration of ESG considerations into investment decision-making processes, supply chain management, and corporate governance practices.
Monitor and track our progress towards ESG goals, develop key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on progress regularly.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as environmental science, sustainability, finance, business, or related disciplines.
Strong knowledge of ESG principles, frameworks, and reporting standards.
Familiarity with sustainability issues, environmental regulations, social impact strategies, and corporate governance practices.
Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting tools.
Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Professional certifications related to ESG, such as CFA ESG Certificate, are a plus including Investment Risk and Taxation Certification.
Previous experience in ESG analysis, sustainability consulting, responsible investing, or a related field is highly desirable.
